About Middleton Engineering

Middleton Engineering and Brewing was officially established in 2020. As a small company, the quality of work is paramount to maintaining positive relations with current and future clients. This is why at Middleton Engineering and Brewing, the two goals are to create a concise structural package for the customer and to provide the best customer service possible.

Meet the Owner

Zack Middleton is a licensed Professional Engineer who received his undergraduate at the University of Georgia and his Masters in Structural Engineering at Portland State University. He has an excellent background in residential engineering in new construction, remodeling, additions and foundations.  Additionally, he has over a decade of structural experience in steel building foundations, art-work, signage, retaining walls and commercial buildings - to include new commercial design as well as commercial building renovation.  Zack also has significant experience working with specialized semiconductor, solar and brewery equipment.  Due to this experience in specialized equipment, Zack has been specially trained and certified in Solidworks for both 3D modeling and dynamic analysis.  While Mr. Middleton strives to learn and take on challenges (he is learning to play the violin): his true passion is to spend as much time as possible with his two daughters, and to assist (as best he can) his wife in starting her own brewery.  Zack's recreational hobbies include snowboarding, running, fly fishing, golfing and brewing.

Jonathan McKim - Architect

Jonathan is an adjunct associate with Middleton Engineering & Brewing to assist our clients in achieving the maximum potential in their project through an architectural lens. 

Born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania, architect & developer Jonathan McKim works within a niche market of self-initiating luxury spec homes.  Additionally, Jonathan dedicates his resources to solving the housing shortage across the US, creatively formulating a Design-Build process with a select team to provide a professionally designed and built house for the average American.  His Design-Build process has also been extremely successful in custom high-end residential structures. 

When he is not working on Architecture; Jonathan enjoys the arts, travel, and reading.  Jonathan resides in San Francisco and maintains an office in a Financial District high rise.
